In difficult terrain you ascend to the Thrashi Labtsa (5755m) and make base camp for the often malicious Pacharmo (6273m) just after the crossing. Because of the seracs the summiting could be very difficult, but the view from the top rewards for all the trouble: Cho Oyu, Sagarmatha, Lhotse and Makalu.
