From here the journey continues with the famous "Skytrain" across the Tibetan Plateau and the Tanggu La Pass (5075 m) to the Amdo Region (Gansu) with the lake Koko Nor near Xining, from where you enjoy the Tibetan grasslands till the little known city of Lanzhou, the last Tibetan area.
