Many shamans come to the  lake and the view over the Himalaya is very rewarding , you might see also Sihsa Pangma, just across the border. Crossing the 4600 m high Laurebina pass you will desced in the lovely “hill” area of the Helambu, where the Tamangs live. With a little luck you can watch leopards, red pandas or many other animals in the Langtang National Park.
