NEPAL: MTB POKHARA - KATHMANDU

We will ride this route hardly touched by tourism in reverse. Passing the charming lake of Begnas Tal, along the main ridge of the Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh and Langtang Himalayas, you will ride on some demanding, but mostly trails passing by typical villages and stunning landscapes to the tiny city of Gorkha, where Nepal has seen the birth of the nearly 300 years lasting royal dynasty of the Shahs. The trail leads along the old trade route towards the Buri Gandaki and Trisuli rivers via Kakani to Kathmandu. Only few portions have to be driven on tarmac, most of the time we are in rural Nepal as you imagine it.
