NEPAL EVEREST GOKYO TREK
If you have little time but long to see Everest this is your tour.Even if you neglected your fitness a bit, this trek is planned in a way that you will be well acclimatized when you summit Gokyo Ri to see the pinnacle of the earth. Via Namche Bazaar, where trekkers and expeditions mingle you climb up to Tenga Phortse, here the beautiful peak of Ama Dablam (6856m) let your dreams fly high. Enter here also the gorge who leads steep up to Luza,Machermo and finally to the Gokyo (4700 m). Here at the Gokyo lakes passes by the great glacier Ngozumpa descending among from others, also from Cho Oyu. The sheer vastness of the glacier and the stunning high alpine panoramas are very hard to be matched by any mountain region in the world. The technically easy climb to Gokyo Ri (5535m)
will open a jet more spectacular and among the very best views of the Mahalangur or Kumbhu: the mighty Everest, the Cho Oyu, the sharp Nuptse and numerous other peaks. You descend thorugh the Gokyo valley again down to Namche and Lukla, from where your flight brings you back to Kathmandu.
