From Simikot, you trek through the remote and fascinating Humla valley along he great Karnali river who like few other breakes its way through the Himalaya towards south. The Humlis are very unique people neither Tibetan, neither nepalis in the strict sense. Herderes and traders you can see often their caravans going either side of the border. After you enter into Tibet you get on the Jeeps and drive to Purang, the old commercial hub. From here it is a short day drive over the Gurla La, from where you can see now the Kailash. Arrive arrive at Lake Manosarawar and from there start the "Kora" around the holy mountain. The rounding of Kailash is spectacular, and you will have enough time to walk without stress. You drive along the main crest of the Himalaya back to Kathmandu , where the tour ends.
